Autumn Creek Music Rock Guitar
Students learn through the music of legendary rock artists such as The Beatles, Cream, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Guns N’ Roses, and Metallica, connecting essential techniques directly to the songs that define rock guitar.
Beginning students focus on core skills like power chords, timing, riffs, and basic lead concepts while learning iconic songs such as Smoke on the Water, Sunshine of Your Love, and Iron Man. As they progress, students move into more advanced rhythm playing, soloing, and expressive techniques including bending, vibrato, and improvisation.
Advanced students continue developing lead guitar skills, exploring phrasing, fretboard fluency, and more complex rock and metal styles while working through well-known solos and song-based material.
Along the way, students also build a strong understanding of tone, gear, and musicianship—including how to use amplifiers, effects, and core theory concepts to shape their sound.
By the end of the program, students are not just playing songs—they understand how rock guitar works and gain the ability to learn, perform, and create music with confidence.
